About Me

Go!Zilla are signors James Priestley (secretsundaze/All Over My Face) and Terry Hart (Nude/Redlight/Drama).
From the outset this formidable pair set out to throw memorable parties that oozed of originality and style in which both their crowds could collide and collude!
On May 7th 05 , after what seemed like the whole of London's press had hyped and anticipated which resulted in a road block) Go!Zilla was launched at The Boudoir, EC1 - a basement venue with 5 vaults, art deco furniture and 2 oversized beds. After a few parties the Go!Zilla family was growing and word was spreading. Sticking to their plan James & Terry decided to move on in order to keep Go!Zilla interesting and to give the family somewhere new to gather and play.
Next port of call was Sosho on Tabernacle St, which witnessed Go!Zilla grow and develop (introduction of Live music /sets). The demand for the parties was solid and growing as were the attendees - a diverse crowd to die for. After what where truely memorable parties, it was, yet again, time for Go!Zilla to follow it's gypsy roots and move on...
The next arrival was Departure, where after a couple of parties James & Terry decided that the venue location was not acessible enough for their crowd and decided to pause the parties for the Summer of 06...
To present, dj's & bands that have joined James at the decks and entertained at Go!Zilla have been (in no particular order) : Ame , Erol Alkan, Riton, Mazzy Supastar, Ed Laliq, Marco Passarani, Francisco, Justin Robertson, Chicken Lips, The Glimmers, Optimo, Mark Moore, George Demure, Severino, Rub'n'Tug, Alexander Robotnick, Padded Cell, Oskar Melzer, Fonteyn, Johnny Hiller, Spektrum Live, HK119 Live, Maurice Fulton, Damian Lazarus, Todd Bodine, Jay Haze aka Fuckpony, Subway Live, Joakim, Capracara, Dixon, A Mountain of One to name a few.
Present:After a well deserved Summer break Go!Zilla was back with avengence both musically and conceptionally.
The Signors – James Priestley and Terry Hart, both back from extensive Summer travelling (barely had time to stash the sun block) and lets not forget partying, have returned on a mission that Go!Zilla has to go back to it’s roots in the guise of interesting and intimate venues away from the norm of present.
Therefore, low and behold, they planned a series of Autumn /Winter “pop-up” Penthouse soirees in the heart of Shoreditch, which launched on Sat Oct 7th aptly named “Penthouse or Pavement” where the capacity was limited to 150 at any 1 given time and are staged for a strictly limited period and then disappear! – sort of “crack cocaine of clubbing “ ie a quick , sharp , full on hit and then we shut up shop and move onto the next. Unfortunately, these were a victim of their own success -with over 300 people scrambling to get in outside, the council was called and the parties were cancelled. Back to the pavement then..
The next move then was a collaboration with My Beautiful City for Go!Zilla's Beautiful City at Hearn Street Car Park. With approx 1000 cool party people in attendance, this set the standard for warehouse style parties in East London.
See you there.. J&T xx
