I love a good laugh, but when I'm not doing that I enjoy reading, anything to do w/ cars (detailing cars relaxes me), watching boxing, writing, and sketching. I'm also interested in learning to play the electric bass.

Music:
I like most music, but my faves are old school R and B and Funk. Jazz works when I need to focus. I also like some rap so long as it doesn't degrade women (why do they have to be B's and H's?) or isn't filled with self-hate (I can see no positive use/purpose for calling yourself or your brother the N word).
Movies:
Documentaries, comedies, action...anything that keeps my attention and/or takes my mind off the daily grind.
Television:
Prison Break, Heroes, The 4400, Monk, House, My Name is Earl... Now that I'm retired, I have free time to watch TV, but I'll go back to work one of these days!
Books:
Anything that makes me think or reflect on what's really important in life. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know, but that's the point!
Heroes:
JFK & his brother Bobby, MLK, Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, and even Bill Gates (he has no roots/ties to Africa or black America, yet he pours his time & money into improving conditions over there and helps out HBCUs here). As a "work in progress," I'm sure there will be many more in my lifetime.
