Each member has spent 10 years developing their art. JJ (vocals) has spent the years training to become the melodic machine that he is. His aggressively gentle, melodic voice and passionate lyrics is what separates him from the rest. Jeff Lippa (Guitars) is the creative genius writing all of Maximum Capacity’s music. He has built a catalogue of tight, rhythmic guitar riffs and powerhouse rock songs that create the unique sound of this band. Ryan Abramowitz (Drums) is a reputable drummer known for his studio recordings and contributions to numerous bands around the city. His original, ambidextrous playing style helps fuel the rhythmic tonality of Maximum Capacity.
After their original demo in 2002, Maximum Capacity underwent some time apart, growing and learning only to become the mature musicians they are today. Their reconciliation was sparked by the simple desire to release the one thing everyone still wanted to do – record what they call their ‘masterpiece.’ Their current EP “Moment of Triumph†was inspired by their single “Whole Again†which was the first new song Maximum Capacity wrote when they were reunited.
Maximum Capacity continues to turn heads as they are beginning to Rock the Canadian music scene. With a second EP to be released in the summer, Maximum Capacity will be hitting the stage on a city summer tour of 2007. See you there!
