It all began at 98, when Edgar Najera had his first contact with trance music, impressed by it, he submerged himself in the scene and the music, back then for a lot of people it turned into a particular lifestyle… however in 2001 he decides to go further by starting to play as “Instinct†starting like anyone would imagine in small local parties and taking him to massive events and festivals all over Mexico, always with a strong and self owned style of heavy edgy basses and melodies and sequences that hooks you into his set, fitting of course in any line up he has been required. This is how “Instinct†gained his current experience and technique that makes himself one of the most succesfull and required dj from Mexico… with a impressive record and a wide number of presentations with national and international artist from various range of styles that couldn’t put him in a box and puts him to the vanguard of electronic music.
All this long journey fulfilled with experiences both inside out of the scene, is the engine that runs his interest to go even further turning his emotion into his own music wich currently is being prepared together with Hugo Martinez (Iky) under the name “Audio Drunks†a fine progressive and tech house project, and also working with Victor Aguilar (Substance/Phantasm rec.) in various genres.*
