things that make me smile: reading poems by Frank O'Hara on the West Side Highway, Pickle, Brian, sushi lounge, lip gloss, dogs in coats, dancing the night away anywhere, reading on the subway, late night truth and cosmos, the funnies, when the smell of citrus sticks to your hands after you've done peeling, the lucky cig, people who love me, the awful truth, oscar wilde, the smell of the beach, saving turtles, when old people get decked out, dresses, when people who are alone laugh with you in public, hearing some one smile over the phone, well placed freckles, really hot baths, the good banana (ie, the one with the sticker), over enunciation, bond girl coats, the view from a train, photos of my parents from before I was born, Delta Burke, Dixie Carter and anyone else with an excruciatingly Southern name... etc.........................................................

............things that make me want to vomit: dave matthews, when people steal my personal vocabulary, sweat suits in public, affected weirdness, B & T guidos, san marcos (RIP), the suburbs, asparagus, alex katz, fake fur, people at odds with themselves, mayonaise, name dropping, bats, the nuts 4 nuts smell, ricky's, the new swing street, righteous trash... etc...
