The story of the production camp, Neo Factory, begins with Rockwell Hallman. At an early age Rockwell learned the true essence of singing. It was in the church where his father and mother, Willie and Catherine Hallman, were pastors and each of his six siblings sang in the choir. He learned very soon how to bring people to their feet. One lesson that he learned from his uncle Eddie Holman,"Hey There Lonely Girl," was to always sing about whats inside of you so that the listener could feel the emotion. Taking all the knowledge that he had learned Rockwell, still a teen, decided to venture out and pursue his career. After performing extremely well at an audition Rockwell was chosen to be a member in a group called the 4mula. The group was put together by The Character Music, Troy Taylor and Charles Ferrar, a production camp under Epic Records. It was there where Rockwell was joined by other R&B crooner Carl Thomas. While in the group Rockwell met and worked with many people and experienced many things in the music business. After years in the group they were dropped from the label due to conflict between The Characters and Epic. Soon after, the 4mula fell apart.Discouraged from the bad experiences he was put through Rockwell decided to move back to New Jersey. After working with various talented producers that didnt last, Rockwell began to notice the talent of his nephew Branden Scott. At the time Branden, a high school senior, had a strong passion for music. Despite being an athlete Branden was an exceptional musician. He was in the high school band, the gospel choir, and he also played every Sunday at church. He soon turned his focus to writing and producing music. After gaining the eye of his, already established uncle, the two decided to create the Neo Factory. Acquiring along the way an exceptional writer in Donald Barnes the team was complete and began writing and producing many songs. After getting some placements, obtaining some very talented artists through A&R Anthony McNeil, and developing a recording facility, the Neo Factory camp was doing pretty well. However, Rockwell decided to take things to the next level realizing that he could no longer resist the urge of wanting to perform. After writing and producing for various artists Rockwell realized that real music with emotion and meaning was rapidly leaving this industry. After heavy thought he decided to go ahead and complete an album full of emotion, meaning, rich vocals, and good music! That's exactly what he did. The album is finished!
