Diva Avari

Originally from Boston, Diva Avari began her career as a go go dancer in the nightclubs of Boston's famous Lansdowne Street. (1990-94) She reigned the Boston Nightlife scene. During one of her shows at Venus Demilo, an upcoming local designer mesmerized by her performance immediately invited her to be in his first fashion show in Paris. Work with him as model and asst. designer permitted Avari to travel to Europe from '92 -'95. In 1996, she ended her collaboration with the designer and decided to take her chances alone in Paris; there she worked as a singer/dancer at Palace for David and Cathy Guetta and would become the first foreigner to be named the "Queen" of Queen Club. Finally in '97, she recorded her first single "Lady Marmalade", a dance cover of the original Patti Labelle song. Ever since, her name has been linked to various record companies; such as BMG, Club News, and Universal. Summer '99 - winter 2001, she did a national tour of France representing Lucky Strike cigarettes. Actually she's concentrating on her solo projects as well as those with her jazzy house group SUBLIM VICTIM and STARTING ROCK with its hit of the moment « Don’t Go ». During the years, Avari has made numerous television appearances...US (Boston – CH4, CHRONICLE) France (M6, MCM, FUN TV, Paris Premiere, AB PROD.), et England (Channel 4) as well in cinema in the film “WILD SIDE” of Sebastian Liefschitz, the latest production of Vincent Cassel, “Le Sheitan”; Also a small but important role in the most recent opus of Otar Iosseliani with Michel Piccoli “Gardens in Autumn” with other propositions in film in the works.Originaire de Boston, Diva Avari commencé son carrière dans milieu de nuit en tant que go go danseuse dans les discothèques sur la fameuse Lansdowne Street à Boston. (1990-94) Elle régné sur les nuits Bostonien. Une nuit pendant sa prestation à VENUS DEMILO, un styliste américain ébloui par sa performance, lui faire défilé à Paris. C’était en tant que mannequin et assistante styliste qu’elle voyage en Europe entre (92-95). C’est finalement en ’97 qu’elle enregistre son premier titre LADY MARMALADE, une reprise danse de la chanson de Patti Labelle. Depuis cette moment, ça nomme est lié a des maison disques variés comme BMG, Club News, et Universal. Eté 1999- Hiver 2001, elle fait une tournée de toute la France pour le marque de cigarette Lucky Strike. Aujourd’hui la diva travaille sur ses projets solos ainsi avec son groupe de jazzy house SUBLIM VICTIM et STARTING ROCK avec la tube danse « Don’t Go » et “Movin On”.
