knowledge is power but truth is freedom

About Me

I am chris. I love the Lord and I will even after my last breath. I can't wait until I get to be with Him in heaven. I have my ups and downs but it's all for a reason. It's like sayains, I have to be broken to be made stronger. In the end God's in control and everything is alright. Don't believe in him? It doesn't matter, He believes in you. For most people life is a process of elimination (read Ecclesiastes). And it hurts watching the ones you care about have to do this. Why do we search for happiness in a land of death? Despite this I'm just making the best of the time given to me. Books are my source of knowledge. Be careful of what you read though. You can pay for a $100,000 education with the price of a library card. But knowledge and wisdom are priceless. I never thought I would be saying that but it's true. Always ask the question of why? It's the most important question. Truth is there for those who seek it. But everyone can't be right. There is only one truth... Cheers to the man who said youth is wasted on the young.

"If chance be the Father of all flesh, disaster is his rainbow in the sky. And when you hear State of Emergency! Sniper Kills Ten! Troops on Rampage! Whites go Looting! Bomb Blasts School! It is but the sound of man worshipping his maker." -Chance, Steve Turner

"The beginning of wisdom is a just appraisal of one's ignorance." -Mortimer J. Adler

"Knowledge is power but truth is freedom."

“Anyone who denies the law of non-contradiction should be beaten and burned until he admits that to be beaten is not the same as not to be beaten, and to be burned is not the same as not to be burned.” -Avicenna medieval philosopher
