.....ROLLOVER was the first Band from Chicago ever to be signed by the legendary Bill Graham Managment (Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd The Neville Brothers, Joe Satriani etc..) . They are a band with a classic roots rock sound influenced by late 60's and 70's rock. After releasing their debut CD, the band scored two singles, "Shipwreck" and "Burning Time," which began getting major airplay on Chicago's WXRT FM Radio. With the help of a radio hit and their strong live shows, they attracted the attention of the ledgendary Bill Graham Managment, who immediatly signed the band. With Graham's help they went on tour to support their CD.With their popularity secured in Chicago, ROLLOVER hit the road opening for and touring with some of Rock's biggest acts like The Allman Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Blues Traveler, The 1994 H.O.R.D.E. Tour, John Hiatt, Jimmie Vaughan, Hot Tuna, The Neville Brothers, Cheap Trick, Buddy Guy, Eddie Money, Robin Trower, Johnny Winter and many others. In 1994 ROLLOVER's song "Shipwreck" was featured on A&M Records "H.o.r.d.e CD Sampler". The Band soon became very busy. They were constantly on the road, sometimes spending months on end touring and doing showcases from L.A. to New York and back again. The band also did several tours between 1994 and 1997 supporting Grammy award winning Guitarist Joe Satriani, including a tour of the U.S. and the U.K. The band played all over the U.K. with Joe and even played at Wembley Arena near London. ROLLOVER also opened for Joe at the Famous Fillmore in San Francisco for two sold out nights! There is a "official Fillmore poster" pictured on this site from those two great Shows! Over the years ROLLOVER has released 3 CD's. "ROLLOVER" (1993) "Hold on Til' you Drop" (1997) and "No Place like home" (2003).ROLLOVER's songs have been used for TV shows (The Rachael Ray Show, Nash Bridges, Spelling Productions etc...) and Movies (Lost and Confused) For the last 18 years Louie Zagoras (ROLLOVER's main singer -songwriter) has been writing songs with Roy Marinell. Roy Co- wrote Werewolves of London, Excitable Boy, and other hits with the late Great Warren Zevon. Roy most recently co-wrote Kid Rock's hit song "All summer long" too. Rollovers second CD "Hold On 'Til You Drop" was released in 1997. The album had two singles that got airplay "Postcard to Myself" and "Kid In a Region" and sold well. The album was co-produced by Jeff Moleski (Smashing Pumpkins, Hole etc...) In 2000 the band was further strengthend by the addition of (Guitarist) Bob Remington, Peter Mahlmeister (Keyboards) and percussionist Dave Plante.
