About Me

Get this video and more at MySpace.com

I grew up in the church singing acapella music. From there I went on to sing in chorus, swing choir, and a few barber shop quartets. My parents bought me my first guitar when I was around 15. My dad showed me my first few chords and on I went from there. Once I was playing well enough to say I could play, I started writing songs. I sing lead and harmony, and this is my first rough cut demo that has ever been heard by more than just my friends and/or family. I'd have to say my best songs are ballads, but I do write some rowdy songs ocasionally. To me a good song is one that touches the heart of the listener. If I write a song that gives a listener the chills or makes them tear up, then I've written a good song.

Influences: My first and greatest influence is my parents. I remember we used to sing acapella in the car and we'd all sing harmony to some good old gospel or bluegrass songs. Others include Mr. Clapsaddle, The Osborne Brothers, Randy Travis, Travis Tritt, Garth Brooks, Tim Mcgraw, The Judds, Little Texas, Hank Williams, and various others which would take me all day to list. Thanks Darquan for setting this up for me.
