Influences: As a young Cape Verdean man growing up in Boston ,(Dorchester) MA. Boss Young'n made a name for himself in the streets of Boston. From battling back in the day to freestyling on radio concerts ;to dropping heat on mixtapes he is what Boston has been looking for . The streets has co-signed him , DJ's love him, ladies stalk him lol..Boss has worked with producers such as Grand Larceny, Peter Beatz , Altar Boy etc..Boss has appeared in Hott 977, Urban Music Fair, he has performed in numerous clubs, countless mixtapes, he has a set fanBase that is growing daily. not to mention a whole country (Cape Verde).Boss is also featured in mixtapes overseas, we have dj's from England , Germany, and France who request tracks on a monthly basis. Boss Young'n is very versatile he can make the street tracks or the mixtape tracks but more important he can write songs that everyday people can relate to ; which gives him an upperHand from alot of rappers. If you listen to his tracks they are all diffrent, he has a very strong creative approach, with a significant style un-matched by others. Boss Young'n has made a name for himself around New England, he has street credibility, everything he talks about he really lived it and can prove it thru the streets or video footage lol..Boss has faced alot of adversity throughout is life such jail,seeing death, loosing family and friends over violence. Boss quickly ranked himself among the streets ,doing what he had to do in which he has earned the name Boss. With all these life experiences and plenty of stories to tell , his music is very appealing and catchy. Boss along with his partner Ace The Don are making heavy moves around the New England area along with the establishment of GunSmoke Ent. which is set to be the influential label based from Boston, Ma .
