social reform for a start. how about scaling the tax rates and diverting the money to industry (to subsidise minimum wage increases), and also into pensions and student allowances? how about more hecs places, and less full-fee? how about re-centralising services and utilities? but in the reality that exists outside my high horse i'm easily amused so interested in anything. i love sport because it is so representative of australian culture - a fair fight is more important than the winner. thats democracy! i love music cos it provides so much to humanity, including dancing. i'm totally interested in dancing. i love learning about history, foreign languages and culture because we don't have enough in australia (thats not to say we dont have some) i love analysing. man, do i love analysing. and chicks with north-western british (manchester, liverpool, midlands etc) accents.

most likely not unlike u, i would describe my current musical taste as '80s bands, 90s raves and 00s production' (thx 2 uk electro band milke 4 that description). i am an alternative. i am more inclined to music that makes me think 'i wish i wrote that', than music that makes me think 'i could have wrote that'. this is important because i have no musical ability whatsoever. for what its worth, here are my ten favourite albums of all time (in no particular order) : Unwritten Law (selftitled), Cut Copy (Bright Like Neon Love), The Clash (London Calling), Bloc Party (Silent Alarm), Blondie (Parallel Lines), The Streets (Original Pirate Material), Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon), Gotye (Like Drawing Blood), Pennywise (Straight Ahead), Incubus (S.C.I.E.N.C.E.), Interpol (Turn on the Bright Lights). *can i count? yes. can u?* if you want my advice on whats good this year, check out these bands (myspaces in brackets) : tokyo police club (tokyopoliceclub), hadouken! (hadoukenuk), riotinbelgium (riotinbelgium), milke (milkeme), these new puritans, foals (foals), battles. also buy cut copy, and the presets' respective new albums if u have any sense (and cents i spose) ABOVE = definition of ahead of their time
this is way 2 hard a list 2 write, as u probably know. succinctly, i like films that have a darker edge, are intelligent enough to make me think, are funny enough to make me laugh, and aren't filled with american cheese. i could cut paste such a list from most myspaces, so refer to them for titles. and add emphasis to star wars. i often go to sleep with a star wars on a menu screen, so my dreams have a good soundtrack.

any. put words in front of me, they'll get read. but my favourite books ever are the Harry Potter series. There is barely a creative mind in this world that compares to JK Rowling. And if you think 'they're just kids books', i'm glad, cos ur ignorance gives me a high horse
