Liquid drops is the Visual Art of Sam Birch aka Liquid Elf, a UK based artist working from a studio in kent.As well as painting backdrops he also makes digital images for flyers and graphics for websites.His work is inspired by and designed for psychedelic trance culture. The backdrops are made with a mixture of uv reactive and mat acrylic paint on canvas so when lite with a black light they really come to life.All back drops are treated with a non durable flame
retardant finish and meet British Standard 5867.Most ideas begin in his sketch book and later transferred to computer, the process will often involve a mixture of photo manipulation and vector artwork combined using photoshop and illustrator on a Mac G5.
