About Me

K.F.G. [KungFuGrip] is a punk rock band with members from the West Coast of California to the Gulf Coast of Texas - Brent Snyder [vocals], Warren Lutz [guitar/vocals], Pete Mayes [bass/vocals], and Tom McMurray [drums/vocals]. Back in the year that punk broke, K.F.G. recorded the indie tapes "Shitty Disco" and "XXX," shared the stage with diverse artists such as The Vandals, Fenix TX, Bo Bud Greene, Sinister Sirens, Greedo and the hip-hop group I-45s; and released the CD singles "GG Allin Is My Dad," "Repeat Myself" and "Adam Eating" on Broken Note and Chicken Ranch Records. At the dawn of the new century, K.F.G. went global with online applications, offering free downloads of its MP3 files. In 2008, K.F.G. returned to the streets of it's inception in SETX. With a digital recorder in a garage at an industrial park in H-Town and an empty house near the oil fields of the Golden Triangle, K.F.G. produced the Smelly Menace singles "RAID" and "ANZUS" and shot a series of live performances at The Vortex [http://www.youtube.com/user/mcmurder666] ... with encouragement from his mates, Brent also launched the SETX music blog at: http://brentblogtx.blogspot.com/
