Johnson, I was born in Nashville, Tennessee; I was raised in East Nashville around and with some of the realest individuals. I was raised with my great auntie and uncle whom I called my grand parents. My folks always associated with other older people so I was surrounded by wisdom. In my early childhood my parents only listen to the blues and gospel, so I use to vibe with that. It wasn’t until later; I would be introduced to hip hop. And as a child I had a passion for making art like drawing pictures and creating things like ninja stars, nun chucks, brass knuckles and all types of things. I soon started to stay over my older cousin’s houses, that's when I was introduced to hip hop, they had every old school record you would want to hear and they kept the TV tuned to YO! MTV RAPS and/or Rap City, and then I fell in love with this hip hop life style, I use to trip off of my cousin’s trying free style it sounded crazy, but it was all good though. At the same time I was going to school with this dude by the name David Lauderdale. David and I became tight; we were steadily listening to hip hop and with it being on the rise and all we decided to give it a try. I started to beat box and he began to freestyle and it was sounding good, we then decided to start a group and named it E.S.D. (Enough Serious Damage), after numerous names I became Serious C and he became D-Dale. He got his rap name from his legal name I got mine from my big cousin plus it fit my personality. We were rapping everyday in the late 80’s early 90’s spitting hard. Time pasted by we where interested in Rap-a-lot, they blew our minds. Ghetto Boyz, Gangsta Nip, Point Blank, Three Two had us wilding out, but the list can go on for days. My grandparents were older and my grandmother was very sick, she passed away leaving me and my grandfather. However; I have two other siblings that lived with my mother but they eventually moved in with me and my grandfather. Soon after my grandfather began to get sick, he eventually checked into a hospital and he later lost his ability to walk. I was only thirteen and counting on my grandfather to take care of me. My mother didn’t have much money she was only able to really take care of my sister and brother, and my real father was a dead beat. My grandfather went through therapy for some time, but still was unable to gain his ability to walk. He came home and only lived about two years and he passed away leaving us with major debt and me to take care of myself. I wasn’t old enough to work so I began to hang in the streets, hustling and doing illegal things. While still rapping, and hanging in the streets meeting different people I ended hooking up with was hanging in the streets, I took a few routes that opened my eyes and it made me realize that I needed a major transformation in my life. To make a long story short I’m now focused on this mic controlling and producing. I solemnly swear this is the truth and nothing but the truth.
