i have music in my blood, so i've been listening to it since i grew ears...more recently it's been the beatles, weezer, nirvana, old metallica, korn, snoop dogg, dr.dre, sublime, frank sinatra, muppet songs, beastie boys, aerosmith, pearl jam, pink floyd, green day, steve miller band, creadence clearwater revival, the lunachicks, mindless self indulgence, marilyn manson, nine inch nails, white zombie, ministry, operation ivy, kidneythieves, kmfdm and mdfmk, wolfsheim, the cure, primus, not much new stuff.... i will also say i've been to more concerts than i can count, met a good handful of rock stars, and have had my share of cuts and bruises from mosh pits!
Movies:
tim burton is genious, john hughs is a favorite, and the python crew are always good for a smile! trainspotting, lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch, the doom generation (ha!), saving grace, half baked, spun, and so on and so forth...
Television:
chappell's show, all the monster shows on discovery kick ass, history channel, PBS (i miss mister rogers), fraggle rock, the muppet show, all in the family, mash, office, and all the other shows that make my eyes feel like they're gonna start dripping out of my brain.
Books:
the davinci code, the power of myth, and anything dr.suess, william shakespear or kurt vonnegut ever wrote.
