Night Club in Cortland NY owned and operated by Robert "Bobcat" Catalano . Lucky's will celebrate its 7th year anniversary on March 17th 2009 and is looking forward to many more to come. We like to think of Lucky's as a little more than just a "bar." We feature art work by local artists and feature live music 3 to 4 nights per week by musicians from all over the world. Lucky's has hosted all genres of music from all over the globe. From the punk rock band the Travoltas (Netherlands) all the way to blues legend Sonny Rhodes (Florida/Texas) and the great singer song writer Peter Case (Plimsouls). We feature open mic night on Monday evenings that is hosted by a rotating crop of brilliant local musicians. Currently the host is Matt Barnes who is most noteably known for his talents as the singer for local Metal band Pile of Heads. He also drums for the punk rock legends the Loiterers and does a solo project as Tom Fury, (all of his bands can be found on myspace). Our open mic nights are known for its versatility and we encourage all musicians out there armed with talents to come and showcase their stuff. Bands local, national, whatever are encouraged to get a hold of us so we can book you at one of the premier stops in Central New York.
