Opening up for and working with the likes of Rakim KRS ONE Twista, Ice Cube, Clipse, lil jon UGK Kanye West and The Roots just to name a few. Aside from battling the cocky emcee began focusing on songwriting and arrangement quickly mastering both PEAJAE and the Late Great Rashan the L.F.S.formed a hip hop duo unfortunately in January of 1998 Rashan’s young life was cut short leaving PEAJAE as solo artist’’ that shit fucked my head up people don’t understand when u lose someone who you real close with that shit will make you mental retarded’’ though the death of his best friend and partner in rhyme effected him in negative ways PEAJAE began to use that as fuel to keep it moving.PEAJAE began working with different local artist and crews on numerous projects feeling like he wasn’t welcome and unappreciated by these crews peajae decided to form his own crew PENAGUN along with OLI G and GOODLIFE(KOON) the trio terrorized the Milwaukee rap scene literally operating with one foot in the streets and one foot in the studio the PENAGUN released one of the most critically acclaimed underground street albums titled If You Aint Got It Then Get It. The album years ahead of its time earned them a cult like following and loyal fan base PENAGUN moved thousands of units through the Midwest and neighboring regions.
