About Me

Hey. I'm 35, originally from Stoke but been exiled in Leeds for 16 years now after coming here to study. Work for a Local Authority by day (yawn) but do a bit of DJing now and then to add a bit of spice to life. I'm into my music especially Northern Soul and Indie stuff. Love dancing to Northern Soul, and getting to see live bands. Passionate about the people and things I care about, I like to look deeper for happiness than just the material goods we tend to acquire. My view is there's good and bad people from all backgrounds, faiths, ethnicity etc, and life is too short for narrow minded bigotry on any basis. Be friendly and kind, and you should get that back. That's why I like to travel to experience new places, new cultures, and meet people from different backgrounds to my own. I also love taking in the stunning scenery the world has to offer, and I try in small way to help preserve what we have left (I'm a member of Friends of the Earth). We have to tread lightly and leave something behind for the next generations eh? In particular we need to look after the animal kingdom, with so many close to extinction. Life's about putting something back, not all take take take, yet we must do it with a smile and a laugh too. Hope you agree!Anyway to draw this rambling to a swift conclusion... here's a short clip of a cat singing about my home town. Hope you laugh as much as I did! His eyes get me everytime. Enjoy!

The reluctant approach of the technophobe Techie

As a rule I don't really like computers. Apart from playing games on my Sinclair ZX Spectrum (48K!) as a teenager I had little to do with them, and that's how I liked it. There were always more e...
