CHECK OUT HARD ACT JAMSCHECK OUT MORE SONGS BY THIS SINGERHard Act: Who We Are..... The band Hard Act was formed in Spring of 1991. All the members feel very lucky to have formed a group that we not only get along well but over the years have formed a brotherhood that really has endured the test of time. For the majority of those years we were a covers band playing all the favs from the 50s to present day rock and alternative rock. Over the years we have played everywhere from Ocean Shores to Port Angles to Poulsbo, Kingston all over Tacoma to Olympia and New Years Eve gigs on the Argosy Cruise lines and other Seattle locations. Finally we have gotten off the endless merry-go-round of covers gigs and have moved on to writing and producing our own songs. In the last couple of years we have slipped into obscurity while building our recording studio. We have finally excelled on our learning curve with the recording equipment and have settled in to start anxiously recording our songs. The amazing thing about doing originals is trying to appeal to the general public. What you like, what you don’t like. That’s why we are here on MySpace! Please, we greatly value your opinions. Give us your input. Please be honest but not mean! So many times we over complicated the music. To fellow musicians it wins the vote, but maybe to the average listener it sounds confusing. That’s where you can really kick in and help. We want to cater to you the listener. We want to write smart songs that appeal to you. Don’t get me wrong were not selling out for commercialism, we just want to get aimed in the right direction. Always, the songs are originated from our feelings. Heart felt or political they come from within. We just need some guidance from you the listener about your opinions likes, dislikes, mixes, more bass less bass, the song sound good until this part, and so fourth, please let us know. Many of our friends and fans are always asking when or where we will be playing. Right now the answer is we don’t know. We certainly will be doing gigs in the future, absolutely! Right now we just want to get all the songs were working on produced and recorded and out there for you to hear. Then we will start to lining up gigs. We really appreciate all the friends and fans that are anxious to see us again, that’s very cool, thank you! We won’t let you down we will be playing locally in the near future. The more traffic we get the more chances we have for the music to be heard. Honestly we are not doing this for money or fame but, “only” for the love of playing music and sharing it with you!
