About Me

Lake Affiliates is a conglomerate of various solo emcees and djs from the Traverse City and Grand Rapids area. Founded in 2004, Lake Affiliates has produced three album/demos, Orphanage Cipher "Flight of Ideas", Dj Fungus "Underground Kulture", and Evilution "Experimental" and one mix CD, Dj Illogik "To Be Continued". Each of the founding members play their part equally from beat makers Dj Zest, Dj Fungus, and Mr. Markis; to recording and engineering from Mr. Markis and Dj Fungus; emceeing from Alien Fetus, Mr. Markis and Evilution; and turntablism from Dj Illogik, Dj Zest, and Dj Fungus. All members mutually have performed at numerous venues, raves and basement parties. Performances of specific recognition are: The Van's Warped Tour(Midwest), The Orbit Room(Grand Rapids), Ground Zero(Traverse City), and The Blind Pig(Ann Arbor)...
