Masterdub

When I started to get into music I was a young guy fascinated by electronic music. It was the end of Eighties and I lived in Sicily. If you go there and close your eyes maybe you may still hear the ancient voices of Greeks, Romans and Muslim Arabs who conquered the island a long long time ago... But this is another history, with another sound...
In early Nineties I began to play, not only at parties but also in exclusive afterhours and one nights specially as a partner dj of artists such as Lil Louise, Kenny Carpenter, Dj Ralf, Stefano Noferini, Seamus Haji, Claudio Coccoluto and many more. These great experiences lived under the Etna volcano between Catania and Taormina, gave me a great musical background and also money for buying compressors, synthesizer and samplers!!
In 1999 my technical equipment gave me the opportunity to set up a little home studio recording where I enjoyed producing a lot of tracks which was published from 2000 to 2004 by Stefano Noferini's labels: LoudBit and NoLabel.
In 2001 I left Siciliy and moved into Milan for being a part of one of the most important italian network called RTL 102.5 Hit Radio.
At the beginning of 2004 I created a program also called “Masterdub_radio show” on Hit Channel Radio (RTL 102.5 imprint), a young Italian network of electronic and breakbeat music. I filled it solely with mixed music – no talking at all- playing artists such as Timo Maas, Santos, Lexicon Avenue, John Acquaviva, Madox, Dj Remo, Daniel Taylor, Loco Dice, Chicken Lips, Alex Dolby, Adam Freeland, Rennie Pilgrem, Atomic Hooligan.
In 2005 I enjoyed my first mondial success at European House Music Awards which took place in London on November 17 at Hammersmith Palais. Also thanks to “Masterdub_radio show” Radio Hit Channel was nominated among the best ten radio station of dance music in the world. In the same period the friendship with Santos enriched me both on human and technical side.
In 2006 I return playing in studio once again and in 2007 I start working with some of most interesting European labels like Influential House Recordings.
In May 2008 Influential House published Masterdub EP vol. 1 and in dicember Masterdub EP vol. 2.
At the beginning of 2009 in spring I remixed for Influential House 'Acid' of Argentinian producer Gesiete.
On 30 July I published with Mc Groove Records the Roulotte EP including three new tracks.
