2007 - The Beginnings
After nearly two years of heavy sounds and growls with SCAR, two of its founding members; Matthias Grasberger and Otto Glaser decided to turn their backs on numetal and instead dedicated themselves to a more decent, mor sophisticated way of making music. From this idea, PITCHPINE was born and made its first steps into the world of music with jam sessions in our rehearsal basement.
Soon the outlines of the new sound began to form, and everybody was really enthusiastic about it. Not much time had past, when the first song was written and immediatly self-recorded. With this song, them three started searching a singer who could realize their imaginations of how the song should sound. That singer was soon be found in person of Jack, who really enriches the sound of PitchPine with his unique voice. To finally realize the sound ideas they've been thinking of, they decided to search a keyboarder, who was soon be found with Thomson from Pfunds.
