I'm a 39 year old Katrina survivor who is looking a life a lot differently since the hurricane. You might say that August 29 made me grow up a little bit more in a big hurry. I love to ride my bicycle, listen to music and go to concerts, especially away from the Coast. Nothing like a good road trip to recharge the batteries. The further away from the destruction the better. You appreciate what you have here when you get away for a little while. I'm an avid reader, especially of non-fiction because you always know that truth is stranger than fiction.
