Since 1977 the Center has touched the lives of many individuals through equality advocacy, social events, benefits, support groups, and health forums – making it one of the oldest GLBT organizations in the country.
The GLCCB furthers its impact by collaborating with community organizations that address a variety of health, recovery, mental health, legal, political, and social issues.
More than 500 people visit the GLCCB every month for groups and classes - thus, the GLCCB serves over 6,000 people every year.
The GLCCB provides 1,200 hours of free or low-cost meeting space to community groups every year.
The GLCCB provides more than 2,000 callers every year with information and referrals to gay-friendly businesses, activities, attorneys, medical professionals, counselors, and support services.
GAY LIFE - a publication of the Center- is Maryland's leading LGBT newspaper - has a readership of nearly 40,000, reaching readers in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Rehoboth and beyond!
