After 25 years as a professional illustrator working mostly on book and advertising illustration I am finally pursuing my own art. My experience as an illustrator and a portrait artist introduced me to the challenges and rewards of painting the figure. It is my passion! I recently had a one man show and called it Eve-Olution both because it centered around the female face and form and also because it's a metaphore for my exploration and hopefully personal evolution as I pursue what I hope will be my life's work. I still do occassional illustration work if it's lucrative and interesting enough and I do take portrait commissions.
