About Me

Grunt Productions came kicking and screaming into the world when a group of variously disturbed individuals, namely Tony Hipwell, Rory Mannix, Christopher Reith, Pete Sutton and numerous other cohorts collided at York St John college where they were all under the pretext of learning about film and acting. The result is an unruly band dealing in low budget independent feature film, short film, TV, music videos and live shows. Our first official release despite having made odds and ends for years now is The Claw, a bizarre, absurd modern grimm fairy tale about a young lad returning home only to be tormented by the creature under his bed he had thought was now a thankfully distant memory. A trailer will be visiting soon. We'll be putting up a showreel of our work pre-grunt (PG) first, followed by trailers and promos for upcoming projects, the end results of which will all be available for download from our website when it goes live.Stay tuned.

Above are some pics from old and new projects we've made or played a part in. There will be a fuller gallery and production archive on the website, but for now these are a snapshot of some of the style and tone of things we do. Enjoy.
