Idiot Savant was born in 2003: powerful and noisy music..all you need to shake your ass!
Simone Ferrari (aka Midas Rena) provides furry energy, sweat, swallows liters of booze and does the vocals, with a taste for melody that suits well the ignorantly powerful background sound. His lyrics vary from social problems to introspective reflections, from innocent friendship to naughty between-the-sheets manner.
Alessio Cocchi (aka ENGL Monsta) is a cocky, rough and straight-to-the-point guitarist... nobody sounds the six-strings as musically noisy as he does. He can also burn down the house with his extra-loud amplifier; rumors are, once he undressed a supermodel with a single power chord.
Emanuele Cananzi (aka Rastapasticca) is the backbone of the band... a virtuoso bass player, who makes use of his role as a therapy; he says, playing with Idiot Savant is egotherapy, and provides a lot of motion, energy, beard, screaming schizoid vocals. He pulls down a lot of booze too, and he (as well as Midas Rena) bring down the house smoking while playing. Lorenzo Scagliarini (aka Da Bad Guy) is the mastermind of the twisted way of thinking that pervades the band... he's the most pervert drummer of the world, showing nasty behaviors with his bandmates as well as with his pupils. All in all, one of the best drummers in Italy.
Idiot Savant is meant to be greedy, luscious, forceful and masculine, a real showdown of manhood!
