About Me

Destination Dance is designed for the passionate and serious dancer. The project consists of 3 days of Master Classes with some of the finest Choreographers of today, in the nation. 12 hours of Awesome instruction to better yourself as a dancer. After each day of classes there is rehearsal for an incredible show in Los Angeles, California, choreographed by Patrice Barakat-Coady. Each of the dancers in the project must audition by video or at the actual audition. This is to guarantee that you are working with a high level of dancers that are serious to their commitment of their art. The minimum age is 9 and the maximum age is 30.MASTER TEACHERS ON STAFF ARE: BRIAN FRIEDMAN, MARK MEISMER, DOUG CALDWELL, ROBERT CONTRERAS, MANDY MOORE and TINA D'AMATO-SIDONI Tuition is $550. **Not including merchandise and Show Tickets.The date for the project is December 26-30 2007.The show will be at the EL PORTAL THEATRE 11206 Weddington St. North Hollywood.The host hotel, Rehearsal studio and Theatre are all on the same street which makes for very convenient transportation....Burbank Airport is the most convenient to fly into....although LAX is not far.DUE TO THIS STAFF BEING WORKING PROFESSIONALS IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY, IF FOR SOME UNFORESEEN REASON A MASTER TEACHER IS UNABLE TO ATTEND, A COMPARABLE REPLACEMENT WILL BE MADE.

Dancers from all over the country.... That is why Destination Dance was created. If you are lucky enough, you may meet dancers from across the nation at nationals or at a convention...but do you ever dance on the same stage, without the pressures of competition, strictly because you LOVE the same thing? Well with Destination Dance you will get the chance to do just that.
