Heat on the Streets Ministries (HOTS Ministries) was established in November 2000 by Eld. Isaac C. Hayes. His initial vision was to create a ministry vehicle that would reach the un-churched in the urban streets and neighborhoods. The vision has now evolved into a self-sustaining worldwide evangelistic-outreach and discipleship ministry that crosses racial, cultural, national, economical, educational and denominational boundaries. This global perspective allows HOTS Ministries to minister to the street thug as well as the corporate executive with the same message of faith in Christ Jesus. Likewise, this cross-denominational perspective allows HOTS Ministries to minister to the Apostolic Pentecostal as well as the Baptist with the message of Gospel Reestablishment.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of HOTS Ministries is to use ministry gifts to save the non-churched through outreach-evangelism and transform the churched through Biblical instruction.
THREE PILLARS & FOUNDATION
HOTS Ministries is built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ. Communication of the Gospel message is our primary objective. We believe that there are three pillars that connect us to the Gospel – Identity, Purpose, and Destiny. The Gospel reestablishes our identity as children of God. The Gospel reestablishes our purpose by transforming our minds to do everything for the glory of God. The Gospel reestablishes our destiny by translating us out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God.
JESUS CHRIST - The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation for discovering
our identity, purpose and destiny.
IDENTITY - Who You Are - An individual’s identity is established by God. He has created us in his image and likeness. Therefore, we should not be defined by the world.
PURPOSE - Why You Are - An individual’s purpose is established by God. He has created us for his glory. Therefore, our divine purpose will ultimately glorify God. If it does not glorify God, it is not our purpose.
DESTINY - Where You Are - An individual’s destiny is established by God. He has created us for a determined end. Therefore, our destiny is reached when we have fulfilled our divine purpose.
