Hi, I'm Geno Del Boccio. I’ve been spinning for over 23 years now. Born, raised, and still residing in the Chicago land area, I have been fortunate to experience first hand the House, Freestyle, Techno, Euro, Mainstream, Remakes (covers), and Hip Hop music movements. I have enjoyed and continue to spin all of these genres today. I was inspired at a very young age by many Djs including the Hot Mix 5, the Mix Masters, and definitely too many others to list. Developing a passion and love for music early I remember at the young age of 7 having my brother and friends sneak me into a club called Fools Rush In on Sunday for teen night. I would just sit and watch the Dj for hours. That was something I did at various teen parties, observing many different Disk jockeys throughout my childhood. As a teenager I played at hundreds of teen parties across the Chicago, and northwest suburban areas. Some of those venues included 13 Colonies in River Grove, Dilligafs in Addison, St. Nicholas Hall, & My Fair Lady in Chicago, The Odeum in Villa Park, and The Horizon in Rosemont. I have had my mixes played on many Chicago radio stations including 107.5FM WGCI, AM1390 WGCI, submitted weekly mixes at WCYC 88.7FM as a member of the Housemaster 7 and The Termination Crew, and was a weekly guest DJ on the Street Flava show on B96 96.3FM. My first residency was at a club called Impressions. Other residencies over the years include Grand Illusions, Tootie Toots, Eddie Rockets, Shooters, End Zone, The Daytona Club, The Rivera, Spy Bar, Groove Cafe, and The 123 Club on Diversey Avenue in Chicago, just to name a few. Enjoying and appreciating many guest sets at multiple clubs in the area, my current residencies at this time include BACIAMI in Elmwood Park (8 years and still jammin’….thanks guys), ANTIPASTO in Addison, GROTTO ON STATE - Chicago, and just added, CAFE ZALUTE in Rosemont.
