a>Ms. Life Stevenson was born in Atlantic City New Jersey, most likely very close to the casino. Her mother is a schizophrenic & father unknown....Ms. Life had a very rough life. Reality can be harsh, but the truth explains all the pain........Ms. Life was raised in afew different foster homes, but was blessed to be placed with the Stevensons, who would show her what a family is supposed to look like. As young Ms.Life grew up she endured much hard shit, but thankfully her brother Starr was deep into hip-hop & showed her something that amazed and intrigued her, and changed her life forever, and for the better.YOUNG STARR was a producer who made beats in the basement almost daily. He introduced her to the sounds of many artists including her personal favorites, NASIR JONES and KRS ONE. Sounds from the basement below her would fill the kitchen above where she would be washing dishes and doing chores, these sounds included De La Soul, Brand Nubian, and MC Lyte to name a few.MC's would often come to the basement to lay down tracks and secretly Ms. Life would listen and begin to create verses herself, knowing she was just as good if not better than some of the artists rapping on the mic downstairs. Soon she would go into the basement to show off her talent, and here the artist Ms. Life was born.Locally she began to become a HOOD LEGEND, and meet other artists who had a similar dream as hers; to one day make it big in the music industry and tell her story to the world. In high school she and a few other artists formed a group called THE ELEMENTS, and would perform at venues such as "The Forum" in Pennsylvania. The group disbanded, but Ms. Life continued onto other ventures. She has written for a few artists as well as performed in such events as "The CAPONA" IN 2000, Morgan State University in 2002, Harrisburg Area Community College in 2004, Feild of Screams MC Battle in 2005, Philadelphia MC Battle Sneaker Villa Challenge in 2006, The Lincoln Theater in 2007, Harrisburgs 1st Award Show in 2007, Appalachian Brewery 2008, and most recently competing in the No Guts No Glory Challenges in Maryland, just to name a small amount of performances.Some artists she has worked with include,PA's own Traffic, Tanelli Records Group, Jimm Bean Sharpa of Tresan, Sean Broxxx, and many other artists who have love for hip-hop music.Ms. Life has something distinct and unique that is difficult to put a finger on. She uses the mic as an instrument to depict the love, joy, sadness , happiness and struggles that she has faced. Even though many other females may share some of the experiences she has, very few can paint a picture in the way that Ms. Life truly can. She has a gift like no other and very few can parrallel.Be on the lookout for this Young lady as she continues to make her mark in the hip-hop world, she is truly someone to look out for and respect!!
