I like to read horror, sci-fi, fantasy and history books; weightlift; swim; hike; bike; canoe; listen to metal, jazz, blues, rock, old-school R&B, funk, fusion and flamenco; drive; explore and visit new places; hang out with friends; help people whenever I can; learn new things in my career field; write; sleep; lay around; go out with friends to new resturants and attractions.
People who are in or interested in the pre-hospital medical profession, firefighters, people who are intrested in music and people who are intrested in helping people.
Mostly I like the various kinds of metal, but I listen to jazz, alt., blues, country, flamenco & various ethnic & folk hispanic, old school R&B, some rap, and classical music at times...particularly music soundtracks
I watch basically anything save for really corny B-movies or really too-sappy romances but my favs lie within the Godfather triology, the Star Wars movies, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gates, We Were Soilders, The Last Samuri, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob's Strike Back, Ocean's Eleven and Twelve, both Blue Brothers movie, Batman Begins, Batman(the first one), Taxi, Heat, Insomnia, What Dreams May Come, Good Morning Vietnam, Tears of the Sun, Caddyshack, Animal House, The Client, The Shining, The Green Mile, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, the LOTR trilogy, King Kong, The Devil's Rejects, and way too many other movies to list. I watch the News, Cops, AMW, Rescue Me(whenever I can get to the TV for this that is), various History Channel and TLC stuff on alot of different things. Recently I've been enjoying Man Vs. Wild, Myth Busters, the Deadliest Catch and some of TLC's medical programs.
I like books ranging over history, military ficition, fanatasy, sci-fi, horror and mysteries/suspense books. Typically I like authors like Stephen King, Tom Clancy, John Grisham, Timothy Zahn...stuff like that.
My heros include my grandmother, my father, my mother, Deputy Chief Jose Santiago, Battalion Chief Steve Chikerotis, "Commish" Orozco, my grandfather(my dad's dad), Joshua Chamberlain, a few others..
