Born in Chicago in 1965, grew up in Westport, CT., went to a bitchin' arts college, worked as a production artist in the Marvel Comics Bullpen from 1990-1998, did the same at DC Comics starting in 1999, became an associate editor in DC's Vertigo imprint from 2001 through 2003, got the boot from that gig and freelanced for the next two years, was senior cook at a Brooklyn barbecue joint from March 2005 through April 2007, and am now the copywriter/proofreader at a Manhattan design studio.
