I enjoy reading, watching TV, scrapbooking, cooking and baking, spending time with friends, and probably my all-time favorite pasttime-- shopping! I love the thrill of finding a good bargain. Somedays I just like going to the mall by myself for a little self-reflection. I love observing people, trying on new clothes, looking at home decor items and designing my dream house (if only in my head). Actually, I lied. My alltime favorite pasttime is exploring new places, especially quaint towns.
Actually, I'm not that sure that I'd like to meet anyone famous. What if I don't have anything interesting to say? If I did have to choose someone I think it would be Oprah.
Because I'm married to Ysmaille my tastes have expanded to include hip-hop and rap, but really deep inside I get inspired by soulful music by India Arie, Norah Jones, and Yolanda Adams.
I am the biggest sucker for romance movies! My favorites? Save the Last Dance, The Notebook, and anything that has singing or dancing in it. Maybe because I am neither a singer nor a dancer I feel I can live vicariously through these people.
I have a love for reality TV. My favorites include The Bachelor, Deal for No Deal, and Amazing Race). Ysmaille and I are also big fans of Lost. I also love TLC (especially What Not to Wear and Trading Spaces) Really any TV is made better by watching it with people.
P.S. I Love You is one of my all-time favorites, along with anything by L.M. Montgomery (author of Anne of Green Gables). I know this is supposed to be about books but I love magazines of all kinds! I love that even if you only have 10 minutes you have enough time to read an article, or be inspired by falls latest trends.
Grandma Lehman. I loved her so much and I can remember for years after she died sometimes I would tear up just talking about her. She had a sweet personality, but was a little feisty when she had to be. I love that in a woman!
