Born and raised in the french colony island of New-Caledonia, Natacha VOLK moved to Los Angeles where she spent 2 years. She got inspired by the creative people she met, grew as a songwriter, and performed on the Hollywood scene (Whisky a Gogo, Viper Room, Green Room) with her project "Appeal"... a life changing experience.In 2004, she decided to take the show to Sweden, and presented herself as a solo artist. She has by her sides a great team of swedish musicians.
She's been working on her first album, with singer/songwriter Björn Johansson (THE BJORN) while continuing to please the crowd at their frequent gigs.
"Money Rains", "I Cry", "Nothing like you", are songs from the 2 first singles that came out of this cooperation and have been played on swedish and french radio.
Overall, emotionally charged melodies, personal lyrics mixed with heavy rock rythms, flavored by Natacha VOLK's edgy melodic voice.
