I'm a film journalist in Italy, a single parent of a 7 years old daughter , and I have a wonderful fiancé who unfortunately lives in Far Far Away Land like Shrek, and he's sweet and tender like him but handsomer! I'm from Lucca but I live in Rome since 1990. I'm working since 1999 for a satellite tv channel about movies (Coming Soon Television) and I published 4 books: Ciak si trema Guida al cinema horror (Theoria 1996, second edition Costa & Nolan 2007), Friedkin. Il brivido dell'ambiguità (Transeuropa, 1997) -the first Italian essay on his films, and he was very proud of it -, L'esorcista 25 anni dopo (Puntozero 1999) and, together with Danilo Arona , L'esorcista, il cinema, il mito (Falsopiano 2003).
I also contributed to books on David Lynch, David Cronenberg, Wes Craven, Mel Gibson, Christopher Lee, Tobe Hooper, and I've been a contributor and/or an editor to the following magazines: Segnocinema, Duel, Horrormania, X-Files, and to the webzines: It, Halcinema, RevisionCinema. I also do radio sometimes. I worked for some years at the Noir in Festival of Courmayeur. Of all the things I've done in this field, I'm mostly proud of my Friedkin book, and of the contributions (translations and interviews) done on account of my friend Tim Lucas for his masterful opus on Mario Bava , more than 30 years in the making!
