About Me
My name is Sonny Islas A.K.A. Halo,I'm 28 years young,I'm happily married,with two baby boys .I was raised in a good christian home,yet I left the ways of the Lord,only to find out,that drugs and sex couldn't fill the God shaped hole in my heart.Today I'm a man after God's own heart,thanks to his grace and mercy.I've been saved now close to ten years.I attend Church at The Eternal Living Word in Tucson,Az.I'm a praise and worship leader,a minister of the word,for quite some time now.My wife and I are youg adult leaders and are considerd pillars in the church.I guess you can call me a young evangelist,because I go wherever the Lord sends me to share the word.I enjoy spending quality time with my family,I also enjoy reading,painting,writing both songs and poetry.I also like producing music, especially hip hop music,getting them fat lyrics on paper then recording them while playing some smooth rythm guitar.Then I love to top it all off by reaching the lost with what Jesus,my God and savior has give me. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,but to us who are being saved it is the power God. -1 Corinthians 1:18 !!!!!MISSION STATEMENT!!!!! I'm a man on a mission to take back the hearts and minds of our young people,and redirect them to the cross.Introducing them to the creator Jesus Christ,then helping them fall madly in love with him and his ways.whether it's igniting the fire or simply feeding the flame,I just want to be used by God.I hear the battle cry and I refuse to ignore it.We're at war for this lost generation,and I stand on the frontline,even if it cost me my life.I will take music and the uncompromising word of God and win souls for his kingdom.What Jesus did on the cross was not in vain,this drives me.
