About Me

Former draftsman that traded technical pencils for watercolor brushes. In awe with the fragile beauty of our deserts, I have the urge to share what few realize is out there. Curiosities are captured by large, realistically drawn images that I bring dimension to through vibrant colors. My paintings don't simply represent what I see, they present the viewer with my ecstasy that I want them to feel. Most of my time is spent in the studio painting between reclining cats that enjoy drifting away to music with me. The rest of my life evolves around off-road adventures and hiking our deserts with my best friends and camera.
I have such sights to show you: Our deserts are not "just a wasteland" in need of improvement by stucco village developers and greedy speculative builders. The plants you see here are decades, even hundreds of years old. I witness acres of them being bulldozed daily in the Las Vegas Valley, along with the disappearing wildlife that depends on them.
