About Me

Good day to you...I communicate. I tell stories and poems. I listen and chat and learn.I love London.Forget 'rhyme and reason' - I'll just take rhyme... and a big beat (and some electro beeps, pops and whizzes).Stopha has addressed topics as varied as our increasingly unstable future (a homage to Science Fiction), the whale that got lost in the Thames, the suburban prejudice against people who wear hooded jumpers and our irrational need for superheroes. He has performed in various venues including 'The Big Dress' fairtrade festival, the 'Galactic Fantastic' carnival, Synergy at the SE1 club and The Glass Onion Music and Arts Centre. He also enjoyed a great run of shows at the Etcetera Theatre as part of the 'Camden Fringe' festival - The 'War on Worry' was an hour show with stand up comic friend Gareth Richards (video clips can be seen at www.WilliamStopha.com ).Stopha also residents at 'theUpperRoom' - A monthly night of jazz, hiphop and spoken word @ 'Liberties Bar' in Camden Town, London. More gigs to follow, keep an eye on the upcoming dates or check out www.WilliamStopha.com
