MUSIC

I started my studies at The Conservatory of Luxembourg City at the age of six, having Classical Percussion and Piano lessons with Netty Glesener and Gary Mueller. Adding later the drums, and taking Jazz Vibraphone / Drums Lessons from Guy Cabay and Rainer Kind, I tried to widen my musical horizon and develop my musical abilities for different instruments. One year before graduation in secondary school I finshed piano and drum studies (obtaining the “ 1er Prix ” and one year later concluding the percussion studies with the “ Prix Superieur ”).
I have always wanted to play in Bands or ensembles, so I had/have projects with groups such as the percussion ensemble “Mariendall 93”, several Jazz Groups a.o. “Gast Waltzing Sextett”, “Agharta Project”, “David Laborier Quartet”, “Orchestre national de Jazz Luxembourg”, "the 3 tenors", "Afrodisax" and the alternative Grounge/Rock Bands “Blue Room” and “Daniel Balthasar”

I worked with several great percussionists : Jean Geoffroy(FR) , Emmanuel Sejourne (FR), Katarczina Mycka (POL) , Nancy Zeltsman (USA) , Chris Lamb (USA) and had the honour to play with great Jazz Musicians such as George Duke and Didier Lockwood.

I played also various concerts such as the ISME 1996 in Amsterdam and 2000 in Edmonton(Canada), “Steve Reich” (Strasbourg, Lyon, Luxembourg, Amsterdam) , “Holland Festival” (Amsterdam) , Chet Atkins Festival/Kennedy Space Center (Gast Waltzing Sextett /USA) , in the “Concertgebouw” ( “Radiokamerorchest”Hilversum (Amsterdam) conducted by Peter Eötvös) and some more.

I graduated in classical Percussion in 2006 in the class of Peter Prommel, Gustavo Gimeno and Victor Oskam and 2007 in Jazzdrumset with Martijn Fink, Marcel Serierse and Gerhard Jeltes.
