My babies (James is 6 and Emily is 4). Guitars. The Law. Poker. Anything involving chocolate and peanut butter. I actually really love to cook, too...and I like to share with others, so that makes it nice for everybody!

Iron Maiden. Van Halen. Ratt. Skid Row. Bon Jovi. Priest. Motley Crue. Poison. Steve Vai. Frank Gambale. Alan Holdsworth. Jason Becker. Marty Friedman. Satch. Jimmy Herring. Scott Henderson. Warren Haynes and Gov'y Mule. Sir Mix a Lot. Anything that doesn't in any way resemble Springsteen (though I think Stevie Van Zandt is a genius in the Sopranos). Suicidal Tendencies, the Ramones, Prince, Buckethead, Mike Keneally, Frank Zappa (especially post-81 tour, or anything with Scott Thunes on bass), Monty Python, Christina Aguilera, Shawn Lane (one of the true geniuses of the electric guitar, as well as piano), Miles Davis, Trane, Tony Bennett, Sinatra, Hendrix, and all the other names that go without saying...
Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and anything that Steve Buschemi is in. That guy's a genius. Rounders. Good Will Hunting (and I don't have a Matt Damon obsession...I just like those two movies a lot) Oh, and all Monty Python stuff, especially skits involving Eric Idle and Michael Palin. Also, I think that "Team America, World Police" is the funniest recent movie. Durka durka! (that should make up for the fact that you thought I had a Matt Damon obsession) I also like that all these new slasher films are coming out. That's a genre that I really miss. We need more scary stuff along the lines of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Black Adder is great, as is Cracker (both are British...check them out if you are not familiar). My favorite thing is going to the movies by myself during the middle of the day...is there something wrong with this???
The Shield. High Stakes Poker on GSN. Deadwood. Sopranos. Whatever horrible reality tv crap happens to be playing in my living room.
Tolkein. I also like Mel Belli's autobiography. Also books about living the high stakes poker lifestyle. Basically, anything involving debauchery, as my life has very little debauchery, so I like to live vicariously through the autobiographies of others. Plus Doyle Brunson's Supersystem and Supersystem 2 are favorites, as are lots of other poker staples. T.J. Cloutier's book. Oh, and Positively Fifth Street by James McManus. (any books that are sitting on my nightstand at home I consider favorites). The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King. Them's good reading, folks.
Melvin Belli, Alan Shore, Daniel Negreanu, Ted Forrest, Steve Vai, Jimmy Herring, Jason Becker, Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Bruce Dickinson. Oh, and Jason Becker. Oh, and Jason Becker. And did I mention Jason Becker??? Check him out....one of the greatest guitar players of all time and quite the inspiration, even now that he is no longer able to play. And Shawn Lane was that kind of talent as well, but alas, Shawn has left us.....
