The Life to Come(New Pictures!)

The Life to Come is a 5-piece progressive hardcore band from Pittston, Pennsylvania. They have been together under this name, for about two years. Aside from this all of the members of the band have been involved in other bands for at least the last four years. They have played at a multitude of venues all across Pennsylvania. In the summer of 2008 they went on tour across Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and Virginia, using only their own resources.
The Life to Come has shared the stage with such bands as Alesana, Arsonists Get All the Girls, A Kiss for Jersey, Carnifex, and way too many more to name. Playing with such bands has not only proved that The Life to Come can hold the attention of huge crowds, but also that their style of music lets them play with bands not just of a single genre. Such flexibility would make them at home on stage with a countless number of bands.
One thing that holds true for most unsigned bands that play in a local area is that they are relatively inconsistent, be it in performance, members, or the survival of the band itself. Being part of a local music scene, one sees bands come and go, and others fade slowly into non-importance. The Life to Come not only stays relevant by continually evolving their music, but also stays consistent by keeping the same members, and practicing constantly so that every show they play is their best.
