Here's the just of it:I grew up in Walvis Bay, a small fishing town with a desert in the backyard, in Namibia (that would be Western-Africa)I came to America by boat(ok, not really, but wouldn't that make a great story) 4 years ago. I lived in Connecticut for a year.I'm hoping to go to Cal State SF next year and become a teacher after that.

My Interests

They change with my class schedule.. This year it will include keeping up with the Rugby World Cup.. maybe getting back to playing Netball.. mostly I work, go to class and occasionally I get to party/hang with friends, mostly in SF.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone!

Music:

I'm a classic rock kinda girl by nature, but as you can imagine, there is newer any new classic rock to discover, so I'm dabbing in more recent music these days.. feel free to suggest something..

Movies:

Oh boy, the list is endless... but a couple include Garden State, Running Scared, Boondock Saints, Elizabethtown, Love Actually, Taxi Driver... and so on and so on.

Television:

Will & Grace, Gilmore Girls, Judging Amy reruns... Grey Anatomy! Kron 4 news, every morning and night... and lots of Food Network, History Channel and Discovery Channel.

Books:

Even though I'm a sucker for a good book, the only reading I'm doing these days is text books.. :( But my favorites include Frank McCourt, Kellerman, Patterson... I love Bios/memoirs

Heroes:

I don't have one, I'm pretty damn proud of myself thus far.. People and the good they do unto others inspire me to be a better person.
