About Me

Band Hton, formed in summer of 2004, in Subotica/Bachka Topola, by Igor Devic(vocals,rythm guitars) and Ljubisa Jojic(lead guitars), first started as a pro-acoustic duo, except trio moments with violinist Tijana Stankovic(ex-Paniks).At the time, the concept of their (suposed to be) first album "Joseph Plateau" was created, and it will be creative nucleus of the band in the future.In 2006 "Superintendent And The Nine Ballerines" was made as the band's first unlabeled promo single and band officially moved in Novi Sad.Their first gig was at MP ART Cafe Gallery, spring 2007.(one more gig in Novi Sad at Route66, and apperances in Subotica,Zrenjanin and Bachka Topola were to follow, where arhaic line-up shared the stage with Ivan Ckonjevic,Ana Never and Balans).In autumn same year, drummer Ozren Lazic (Tizzies,Mea) joined the band and electric guitars became new tools of the group.In 2008. they recorded "Trains", and soon it will be featured on compilation "Putnik" (Listen Loudest!) made by Balans leader, Edvard Halas.The first show in new line-up was at Mojo Club Senta (followed by apperance in Novi Sad - iZBA, as a band Went guest on their Vojvodina tour).At the end of the year, Hton done it's first EP (recorded direct to two-track 1/4 inch tape, by Dimitrije Jakovljevic).The beginning of the year 2009 was marked as a come back of Tijana, (now) as a regular member of the band (violins,bass).Ambush Music Festival gig in Bash Kuca (Subotica) and great concert in CK13 in Novi Sad, were to follow...
