Some fantastic news!! The Exective committe have decided to run everything at Bonded themselves.

This page was designed and created by a team of former students in order to give new University of Sunderland Students an insight into the band nights we did hold at Sunderland University.
Bands rate the pub as 'Sunderlands Best Band Venue'!!!! as it is in your face and holds 250 people which is sufficent for any local band with a good following. If anyone has not seen the atmotphere the pub creates on a band night they should get themselves in and take a peep.
With so many bars/pubs and nightclubs competing to win your business we took it upon ourselves to keep you updated with the best of whats happening in Sunderlands very own only student home. Feel free to ask the licensee Linda any questions about the local area area or SU activerties
If your a fresher to Sunderland University then this page should be of great help to you in deciding which bands you would like to come and support within the Sunderland area'By the way its NOT SHUT', it is definately still there. With 1100 students located within 750 yards of the building this place may be promoted after the five year plan finishes!
The venue has had many great artists over the years and offer them all the best hospitality we can. The PA system is top notch and is always complemented. Together with that and a room structure which bounces noise in many directions we have a recipe for a un-rivalled city sound.
So far this year (2008) we have had 4 signed bands and another 7 on publishing deals as well much homegrown talent, and with limited availability for these nights it is quite an amazing number. All bands who have played are available on the top friends list (Check them out)
