I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 Jamaican born Ronnie "Springer" Richards grew up in South London and has been involved in playing and making music since his youth. Ronnie has recently been working with and produced by Basement Jaxx, who first met Ronnie coincidently through a shared rehearsal studio space where the three got talking.Ronnies talent and enthusiasm immediately struck a chord with Basement Jaxx and they recruited him to provide backing vocals on a track from their "Urban Haze" EP.Basement Jaxx's label Atlantic Jaxx have released 2 solo singles and an album with Ronnie. Single releases: "Steppin" Out" (inc Irration Stepper remix)-Atlantic Jaxx "Too busy thinkin'"(inc Maffia & Fluxy remix)-Atlantic Jaxx Album "Experience"-Atlantic JaxxRonnie has toured all over Europe with Basement Jaxx Ronnie describes his music as E.L.C.R. that's Easy Listening Classic Reggae. He is influenced by Studio One, Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs, as as the version of Too busy attests Ronnie owes just as much to the soul music of Motown as he does to the Reggae Greats. The messages in his songs are always clear, ranging from humanitarian to Lovers issues. Ronnie is currently working on an album with producers Vangard(produced Dizzie Rascals forthcoming single & remixed Ashanti's current single) & Riksta
