Louisiana->Mississippi->Alabama... Pretty much sums up the last 29 years of my life... Sure, I miss Lafayette from time to time, especially the food, art, music, and culture, but Mississippi is where I did most of my "growing up"...(Well there and in my car from 2003-2005)... It's nice to visit Lafayette, but I just can't see myself settling there... (Then again, I'm sure my luck will have me settling there in a matter of years...)I'm a two time graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi (Southern Miss for short)... First in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management, then again in 2006 with a Masters in Educational Leadership and Research (Student Affairs) with an emphasis in College Student Personnel. The business degree was a "time buyer" for me to figure out what I really wanted to do with my life and so I could "play" while in college... About to start a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at the University of Alabama, which is both exciting and scary...It's funny to think that whoever is reading this right now wouldn't already know all this stuff about me, since I have my profile "psycho proofed" by making it private and requiring that you know all but my shoe size and if I wear boxers or briefs to even request me as a friend...That being said, you should know that I'm a huge fan of music and can usually be caught either listening to it, playing it, watching someone else play it, or writing and learning about it... I've recently launched my own solo project known as "ships for safe harbors", which keeps me busy and it is as much fun as it is challenging and rewarding... I'm just trying to make honest music that I enjoy playing and listening to... feel free to add "ships for safe harbors" as your friend... I'd appreciate the support...
