About Me

Since the First Edition of my book sold out, the second one is one it's way. It's been shipped from the printer and should be here any moment. To see what the little book about the rules of stand-up comedy is all about, wander over to my website when you get a chance. www.StandUpAndSucceed.com My humour is found in the little things, like our 3 lb. dog, a unique set of 'step-children', my family, some of the stupid things I've managed to get involved with in my life and the wrong things in this f*cked-up universe that need commenting on.The big project in the works right now is my children's book "How The Beluga Lost Its Colour", which requires me to do 25 original paintings for it and then do the design/layout etc. I'm hping for a July release, but that's really just wishful thinking. Anyway, news will come as it happens.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

There are a great many terrific comics who contributed to my book very graciously and deserve my thanks, and I would like to meet each and every one of them again so I can thank them in person. In the last 8 months I have met comedy greats Tim Conway & Harvey Korman, Bill Cosby and The Smothers Brothers and am still walking on air. I was also fortunate enough to meet Bob Newhart a few years back and he was a big influence. Who I'd like to meet now are a few more of the success stories of comedy: Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Brad Garrett, George Lopez & George Carlin --- just to name a few.I'd also like to meet anyone who knows the joy of going to see live comedy, from Open-Mic Amateur Nights to the big concerts.Plus there's also anyone who calls themselves a writer --- always great to chat with and swap 'war' stories.I want to meet people who "get" The Three Stooges, Monty Python, Lewis Black, Benny Hill, Jeff Foxworthy, Bob Newhart, SCTV, Harry Chapin, Moxy Fruvous and the Barenaked Ladies.I want to meet people who love the city of Toronto and truly know what a magnificent city it can be.I want to meet people who believe that political correctness has gone too far, but there's never an excuse for violence or inciting hatred.I want to meet people who know that's it's better to create than it is to destroy.I want to meet people who know that forest fires are a necessary part of the cycle of life and that in the end, whether you're funny or not, smart or not, good-looking or not, happy or not . . . Nature Rules. Absolutely. Finally. Get used to it.And I want to meet people who know the Sound of Sarcasm when it hits the fan.
