Originally growing up and studying architecture in western Canada, I resolved to move south after seeing a Club Med ad on TV during one particularly bitter Alberta winter. The Cayman Islands is now my permanent home. Architecture is my profession but I also live to play improvised music with a particular interest in vocal jazz. I am an alumnus of Vancouver's Jazzmanian Devils whose prodigal children are now littering the globe from Hanoi to White Rock. My primary instruments are piano / B3 but sliding things are factoring larger in my musical life which includes jazz, blues, folk, country and most importantly, the unclassifiable. Currently I am playing periodically with my band, Cool School and in the process of putting together a new funk project with some like-minded aliens. Every summer you can find me at Interplay Jazz Camp in Woodstock, Vermont either accompanying or learning. By the way, thanks for stopping by.....
